GFRIEND — Cancellation & Refund Policy (India-Specific)

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the rules regarding cancellations, refunds, and payment issues for purchases and subscriptions within the GFRIEND app. By using the app, you agree to this policy

1. General Policy: No Refund for Completed Orders

Once an order or subscription has been successfully processed and activated, it is generally non-refundable

Users should carefully review all information and order details before making a payment.

2. Exceptions: Situations Where Refund May Be Considered

Although refunds are generally not provided, GFRIEND may approve a refund under certain conditions:

1. Order Cancelled Before Execution:

If a user contacts customer support within 3 calendar days of placing the order, GFRIEND may consider a refund at its discretion.

2. Technical Issues or Failed Transactions:

If a payment is duplicated, failed, or the service/subscription is not activated due to a technical glitch, a full refund may be processed after verification.

3. Website or App-Initiated Cancellation:

If GFRIEND cancels an order due to unavailability of the service, errors in pricing or details, or any operational issues, the payment made will be refunded.

4. Pro-Rata Refund for Delayed Subscription Activation:

If a subscription is delayed and the service is not provided on time, GFRIEND may issue a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the subscription.

3. Non-Refundable Payments

The following payments are generally not eligible for refunds:

One-time service fees, administrative charges, or setup costs.

Payments under promotional offers, discounts, or special campaigns (unless stated otherwise).

Services that have been fully delivered, used, or accessed.

4. Refund Request Procedure

1. Contact GFRIEND customer support at support@gfriendapp.com with your transaction details and reason for the request.

2. Each request will be reviewed case by case. Approval is at GFRIEND’s discretion.

3. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.

5. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your premium subscription anytime via your device’s app store settings.

Cancellation stops future auto-renewals but does not refund the current billing period

Pro-rata refunds may apply if the subscription was delayed or partially activated.

6. Technical Glitches and Duplicate Payments

Users must check their bank or payment status before initiating additional payments.

Verified duplicate payments or failed transactions will be fully refunded

Refunds are not applicable due to minor technical delays if the service was delivered as intended.

7. Display & Reference

Product images, service descriptions, or subscription benefits shown in the app are for reference only. Minor variations do not qualify for a refund unless they materially affect the service.

8. Deductions and Charges

Refunds may deduct any applicable bank or payment gateway charges.

Shipping or courier charges (if applicable) and customs duties may also be deducted if previously incurred.

9. Policy Amendments

GFRIEND may update or modify this policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting in the app.

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
